And NSSM works around that by restarting the child process if it dies? I tried it as well as a few options in "Recovery" tab. e)Funny thing: I can start OpenVPN GUI naturally and it does not report any error (i suppose that if the connection was already established on startup it would alert that a Failed To Start Openvpn Connection To Server Linux: On Linux, you should install OpenVPN from your distribution's official repositories.

If i shutdown the computer and then startup, everything goes ok. Also, I did not do any tests with multiple simultaneously active VPN tunnels.
