You don't say if this occurs when you manually install the software, or just when installing in a system context. Unfortunately this copies the path for the LogFIleWin32 property and points to the default user’s
A few caveats though: - The file extraction needs to be done as the low-rights user tries to write to the file before the single CitrixReceiver.exe completes its execution. After doing these steps, the error should be gone. The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down. Windows 7 successfully prevented the low-rights access to the file and this was what resulted in the error (Failed to Set Event Logging) being displayed.
