I will be researching on how to implement authentication under such a condition in a windows environment and will give it another try. What I do remember of use of specification of confs via installer is that the installer places the confs in a location which is difficult to manage (override) over time. Then to bind the Mac open System Preferences->Network, Advanced button to bring down the Advnced networking and set the Static IP (given to you be the Domain Administrator) and WINS server I can reproduces this issue as the same error "Cannot find SPN's" happens and CentrifyDC mode remains disconnected. I'm getting this same error on the "Test LDAP Server Configuraion" (just saw the missing T) -- Binding with DN for non-anonymous search (cn=ldapsearch,dc=bus,dc=local). Solved! My export is set up as it was before (Detailed User exporting last login from all DCs), but when I start it, I get the following message and then the export I got the Server's certificate and put into described folder: C:\openldap\sysconf\certs.pem and modified the ldap.conf.
