Also, many of the times are after midnight, which may suggest sessions timing out and being logged off per RDS timing settings.

In the General tab, change the Security layer pulldown box from Negotiate to RDP Security Layer. We have many other servers running on the same host, with the same configurations, but this is only happening on this server. Maybe you once used the "FIPS Compliant" encryption level?
