Another thought,how many updates installed after upgrade?could well be the issue? Try to rename HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects to "Browser Helper Objects.old". Not sure how to go about it. If it helped, rename key back and disable subcomponents in that key step by step.

I was a little nervous about trying this, and did some searching about what the "Bag" settings were for. Iwasplanning to rename dui70.dll and try a startup repair. Would be really interested to see if MS can fix this and ASAP..
