As for the differences between use of the two profiles, you have those two profiles to compare and that may provide clues. Run CCleaner and cleaned the PC (Check and uncheck your options). This has been a problem for months and months, if not years and years. I trust that I have the same problem as DM789. This will stop Firefox from loading all the tabs of your session when starting. Tried disabling my Internet Security software (McAfee). In your profile folder, delete the file content-prefs.sqlite. I have also tried a fresh windows install but this didn't fix the problem either. Here's the correct one. The other solution I found was to reboot my entire OS.
